Job Opportunities with Boomerang Boat Tours

Aboard the Boats:

Captain
The 70ft Boomerang Party Yacht, the 65ft Boomerang Party Boat, and 54ft Boomerang Pirate Ship require our captains to hold their 100 ton masters license with recent experience captaining large passenger vessels and exceptional knowledge of vessel handling and navigation. Captains are subject to both pre-employment and random drug testing per US Coast Guard regulations. References required.

Enemy Pirate Ship Captain
In addition to our three passenger vessels, we also operate a 14ft ‘enemy pirate boat’ which engages the Boomerang Pirate Ship in water cannon battles during our treasure hunt cruises in the morning and afternoon. A boating license is required, and we are looking for someone who is safe and reliable, who knows and loves the water, has a fun personality, and who doesn’t mind getting wet! Although you will be acting as a dark, salty, greedy, scurvy dog pirate, prior acting experience is not required.

Deckhand
Our deckhands maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the vessel, ensure guest comfort, enjoyment, and safety while underway, assist with docking and undocking, and provide support to the captain, DJ, & bartenders as needed throughout our cruises. Our crew upholds the strictest safety standards for guests, while maintaining a professional and friendly manner with all passengers. All shipmates are subject to both pre-employment and random drug testing per US Coast Guard regulations. Prior experience is preferred, but not required as training is provided.

Pirate Ship Hosts & Actors
Arghhh me mateys! Our team of jolly pirates entertain the guests aboard the family fun treasure hunt cruises on the Boomerang Pirate Ship during the mornings and afternoons. Our treasure seeking wenches & buccaneers execute various pirate activities, while teaching guests of all ages about the Boomerang Pirate Ship with enthusiasm and creativity! Some of the roles include teaching pirate vocabulary, face painting, engaging in pirate dances, helping our passengers defeat the enemy pirate (a total scallywag) with the use of our 12 water cannons, and helping to keep the boat tidy (Swabbing the deck, anyone?). Prior acting experience and walking the plank is not required, but pirates must be comfortable speaking in front of an audience, role playing, and participating in various skits.

Georgetown Dock Host
In this role you will be checking in our guests prior to their cruise at the Georgetown waterfront while enhancing customer satisfaction. Dock hosts are responsible for checking in customers for their cruise, generating excitement for their upcoming tour, answering questions, and providing outstanding customer service!

Party Yacht & Pirate Ship Cruise Director
Our cruise directors bring high energy & enthusiasm with them to work on board the Boomerang Party Yacht and the Boomerang Pirate Ship. Responsibilities include assisting the passengers, captain, crew, DJ, and bartenders, acting as a “party-starter” to foster a welcoming and upbeat party on the water, problem solving to ensure an amazing cruise for all passengers, and helping to keep the boat tidy. Top notch interpersonal skills are a must, along with a genuine passion for promoting positive energy, dancing, and laughing while engaging our nautical guests in a unique party environment.

DJs
We have a DJ booth aboard both boats with a DJ performing on the majority of our cruises. Our DJs play a fun mix of top 40, international, electronic and old school hip hop. Prior experience and references are required.

Bartenders
We have full bars aboard each boat & our bartenders are the life of the party- servicing guests quickly, with accuracy and a smile, while rocking our nautical attire and exhibiting contagiously high energy & enthusiasm. Prior service industry experience is preferred.
